What happens in Vegas ... is some incredible racing action.
On March 5, Ty Dillon and the #3 WESCO Chevy made their 2016 debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – and they had quite the cheering squad. Joining them and the Richard Childress Racing team were more than 40 lucky customers, supplier guests, and WESCO employees.
Aside from meeting (and partaking in some frame-worthy photo-ops) with Dillon, they received total VIP access at the event. They were able to watch the qualifying round, got a behind-the-scenes tour of the track’s garages, and visited the hauler where Dillon and his crew relax before each race.
And that wasn’t even the best part. That came when guests visited the famous pit road. There they got to see the otherworldly fast pit crews in action and enjoyed an exhilarating view from the pit box.
The final treat was seeing Dillon take on the Boyd Gaming 300. He started the race in ninth place and completed all 200 laps before cruising to a seventh-place finish. He is currently fifth in the XFINITY points standings.
Now Dillon and the WESCO Chevy have their eyes set on Richmond, Va. On April 23, they’ll be back together in the ToyotaCare 250. That race will air live at 12:30 p.m. EST on FOX Sports 1.
