On Thursday, June 9, WESCO will officially unveil its new Seattle, Wash., facility. The 120,000-square-foot building will be open to the public for an open house from 12–6 p.m., where attendees can visit a supplier trade show, check out mobile demonstration trucks from Crouse-Hinds and Philips Lighting, and attend free CEC education sessions.
If you'd like to get a sneak peek of the massive facility, here's a spectacular drone's-eye view. And if that's not enough to convince you, there are plenty of other reasons to attend the event, especially if you're a football fan or modern foodie.
A celebrity appearance by…
Seattle football player Cliff Avril will make a special appearance from 3–5 p.m. to sign autographs and take pictures with attendees. He will meet on a first-come, first-served basis, so those who are interested should plan to arrive early.
Did we mention food?
Events these days aren’t quite complete without a food truck. Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to visit the renowned Barking Frog Mobile Kitchen for a yummy assortment of hors d’oeuvres, entrées and desserts. Take this time to savor their incredible menus.
From 4–6 p.m., you’ll be able to unwind and network with your peers with some local microbrews and wine. This will also be the perfect time to continue your discussions with suppliers or meet any that you couldn’t visit at the trade show. You’re also likely to meet representatives and decision makers from various businesses and industries, so bring your A-game – and plenty of business cards.
